As a tribute to the countless freedom fighters who sacrificed their souls for the country and as a tearful remembrance of the Jallianwala Bagh incident (April 13th, 1919), a narrative art painting event was organized in the Amritapuri campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidya Peetham. The event "Colour the Struggle" went a grant success when a group of artists not less than 50 did a simultaneous painting on water colour, depicting the different phases of freedom struggle.
